Privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Aisle & Ink ("we", "us", "our") runs this online store, which is powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site, buy from us or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you acknowledge this policy.

Information we collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address and billing address.
  • Order details — what you view, add to cart and buy, and the files we deliver to you.
  • Payment details — processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments or PayPal). We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as card type and last four digits; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages — anything you send us when you email for help.
  • Device and usage information — your IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Because our products are digital, we do not need or ask for a shipping address.

How we use it

  • To process your order, deliver your files and send order emails.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
  • To improve our products and website.
  • To send marketing emails if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
  • To measure and improve our advertising (see below).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest. We may use their pixels or similar tools, and server-side connections such as Meta's Conversions API, to measure which ads lead to visits and purchases and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. These partners use information according to their own privacy policies. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising here. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser where the law requires. You can also adjust ad preferences directly in your Meta and Pinterest account settings.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders. Learn how Shopify uses personal information in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as payment processors, our digital-delivery app, email tools and analytics.
  • Advertising partners, as described above.
  • Authorities or others when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or merger.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide your files, support you and meet tax and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other US states, the EEA and the UK), you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • receive a copy in a portable format;
  • opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • appeal our decision or complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email kabirgulati435@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent; we'll ask for proof they can act for you.

Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

International transfers

Aisle & Ink is operated from India, and our service providers (including Shopify) may process your information in the United States, Canada, India and other countries. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
